Mint and Marigold was co-founded by Louise and Maria in 2018. Having worked together for many years, Louise and Maria have always shared the same passion for the industry. When they discovered the salon they had worked in for many years was going to be permanently closed and they would be made redundant, they threw their heart and soul into creating a new haven that could be loved by the local community and beyond.
The salon name and space was very important to Louise & Maria. It needed to compliment their mission in creating “healthy hair, healthy skin, healthy mind” for both clients and the team. It was a difficult task coming up with the name as they wanted something unique which represented them as a team and their vision for the salon. “Marigold” is the birth flower for October- the month that Louise and Maria both share a birthday! A ray of sunshine to beam upon all. “Mint” is fresh, soothing, calming and healing! It is also vibrant and fast growing. The perfect compliment. And so together, “Mint & Marigold” was born!!!
